Familia Torres

The Torres Family owns 2,432 hectares of vineyards, of which 2,000 are in Spain, 400 in Chile and 32 in California. Its wines can be found in more than 150 countries. In Spain, the Torres Family is present in the Denominations of Origin Catalunya, Conca de Barberà, Costers del Segre, Penedès, Priorat, Terra Alta, Rías Baixas, Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Rueda. The iconic wines of the Torres family are aged in the Waltraud winery, named after Miguel A. Torres' wife, Waltraud Maczassek, who initiated and directed exports to Germany 25 years ago and currently chairs the Miguel Torres Foundation. At an international level, Torres has its own winery in Chile and California, as well as vineyards. The California winery, named Marimar Estate, is owned by Marimar and Cristina Torres.
