Chimay is a brewery at Scourmont Abbey; a Trappist monastery in Chimay, Hainaut, Belgium, one of the eleven breweries worldwide that produce Trappist beer. Chimay Rouge, Chimay Blue, and Chimay Blanche are the three ales that are produced together with one patersbier for the monks and four kinds of cheese. Ethics is the essential value appreciated by the abbey with the sole use of natural ingredients and donating most of the income from sales to social aid.
