In addition to the traditional pesto sauce, pasta bavetta also goes well with any sauce based on herbs and seafood. Bavette refers to a long format pasta, due to which it perfectly emphasizes the taste of the sauce. Its flat and slightly convex shape allows the sauce to be evenly distributed over the surface of the paste and reveals the whole palette of its tastes and aromas. Bavettas are exceptionally good even when refueling with a small amount of butter, however, they are ideally combined with Pesto Genovese sauce. An original and at the same time fast cooking dish is Bavetta pasta with Arrabbiata sauce and white beans. Adherents of traditional recipes will like pasta with zucchini-based carbonara sauce.
