Glenmorangie is a single malt whisky. It originated from two second-hand gin stills bought by Matheson to make his spirit. The distillery is famous for having the tallest stills in Scotland. Throughout the years, Glenmorangie expanded to have eight stills rather than just two. The company also secured the future of its own water source by buying 650 acres of land around the Tarlogie Springs.
