Jasol came to life when an innovative chemist, Mr. Charles Johnson contacted Mr. Edwards who was a well-known businessman with a formulation that enabled oil to be mixed with water. In the beginning, Mr. Johnson thought about calling the company Johnson’s Antiseptic Soluble Oils Ltd yet settled for the abbreviation JASOL.
