Within the framework of its environmental initiatives "Spinneys" announces the name of the winner of the "Tesla" electric car

Beirut, Lebanon – March 2020 – Within the framework of environmental initiatives and ongoing activities to promote environmental awareness, Spinneys conducted a draw on a Tesla electric vehicle under the supervision of the Lebanese National Lottery, on Tuesday, March 3^rd, in the parking lot of its Jnah branch.

The radio presenter, John Saad, announced the name of the winner, “Ali Mansour,” and called him on the spot to inform him of his victory. This environmentally friendly car is characterized by its ability to reduce the emission of toxic gases, as it is easy to operate and aims to reduce pollution rates in cities. This activation is part of a series of initiatives, and a TV advertising campaign launched by Spinneys last year. This campaign shed light on the environmental practices that Spinneys applies, from the use of environmentally friendly bags, to other first of their kind sustainable bags for fruits and vegetables, in addition to the sorting of empty plastic products, recycling aluminum packages and reducing food waste. Moreover, Spinneys has installed machines to recharge electric cars in 3 of its branches. It also held the "Spinneys Green Festival" where students aged between 8 and 13 participated in a series of environmental awareness activities, in hopes of a greener Lebanon.
