Dano

Dano started in the 1880s with dairy farmers in Denmark and Sweden. It expanded from small cooperatives to local, regional and finally national ones. In 2000, the major Danish dairy company merged with its Swedish counterpart and Arla Foods. Thus, forming the first cross-border dairy cooperative. The cooperative idea extended to the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. Today, Arla Foods continues to grow stronger. Dano milk powder is one of their products and is solely produced in Denmark. Dano’s mark is strongly present across the Middle East, Africa, Bangladesh and parts of Latin America.
