IGOR is a typical cheese of the Novara area. It is currently the leading company in the production of Gorgonzola PDO. Thanks to its state-of-the-art technologies and to a constant update of its production process. IGOR was founded in 1935 in Mezzomerico. In 1996, the company’s headquarters moved to their current location in Cameri. To improve the efficiency of the various production departments IGOR has made four plant expansions. Not to forget, its acquisition of the three historic dairy factories: Ballarini, Pal, and Clin. The capacity of IGOR’s business has been an ongoing process over the years. In May 2015, IGOR enlarged its growth by a fifth factory investment dedicated to the production of Gorgonzola to a 50,000 square meters area. The continuous daily monitoring of both milk and raw materials contributes to the high quality of IGOR cheese.
